Why not join FRR in his next 10k road race

Hyde Park Jog 2011

Type:Runs and Jogs

When:Wednesday 29 June 2011

Where:Hyde Park, London, W2 2UH

Entry Fee:

This event is completely free to enter!

On Monday 21 March we were informed that due to the Royal Wedding happening this year we have to change the date and route of this year’s Hyde Park Jog. We will now be taking over Hyde Park on Wednesday 29 June with two exciting new 5km or 10km routes (still starting and finishing from The Bandstand in Hyde Park).

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but really hope you will still be able to take part.

With the new summer date why not try and get more friends involved or enter a team from work and help boost your fundraising efforts. If you can’t make the new date why not have a look at our other London Jogs taking place throughout the summer, and remember all of our London Jogs are FREE to enter!

Have fun, get fit, save lives!

Join us for the fifth year of this fabulous jog – the second in our London Jogs Series! Walk, jog or run 5Km or 10km, it’s up to you, all we ask is that you try and raise as much sponsorship as you can to help us keep hearts beating.

Last year’s event saw a record breaking 2400 kind hearted souls jog around the park and raise an impressive £70,000 for the BHF.

So come on, get involved! Make 2011 the year that you support the BHF by raising vital funds to help us continue our life saving work.

What time does it start?
Registration Opens        4.30pm
Warm up                       6.00pm
Start                              6.15pm

Anything else I need to know?
• We strongly recommend that you bring minimal baggage with you on the day.
• All runners are given a FREE BHF t-shirt
• Free water is available to all runners at the end of the event
• All runners will receive a commemorative medal
• Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.

Do I have to raise sponsorship?
To help the BHF save lives we urge you to raise as much sponsorship money as possible. Why not help us celebrate our 50th birthday this year by aiming to pledge a minimum of £50 in sponsorship for this event – FIFTY FOR FIFTY! Just a pound for every year the BHF has been doing its fantastic pioneering work.
